Douglas Hanna is the COO of Grafana Labs, the company behind leading open source projects Grafana and Loki, and the creator of the first open and composable observability platform. Prior to Grafana Labs, he spent nearly four years at Zendesk, most recently as VP, Operations at Zendesk. Before Zendesk, he was the founder and CEO of Help.com, a customer service software company, and the CEO of A Small Orange, the homegrown hosting company. A Small Orange, which Douglas joined in 2010, was acquired by Endurance International Group (NASDAQ: EIGI) in 2012 and Douglas continued running the company as the SVP and Brand CEO, A Small Orange at Endurance for nearly two years following the acquisition. Douglas earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Duke University.

Dr. Grin Lord is founder/CEO of mpathic.ai - humanizing AI with empathy and of Therapists in Tech (TnT) a collaborative of 1k+ digital mental health experts who are defining the digital mental health revolution together. Dr. Lord was the Chief Clinical Officer of Lyssn.io, Clinical Product Psychologist at Youper.ai, and Research Scientist at University of Washington. Her areas of expertise include: conversational design, using AI and machine learning to augment human connection, evidence-based therapies, health coaching, and psychology.

Since 2007, Dr. Lord has worked as a clinician-researcher at University of Washington in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Her research and writing focuses on the intersection of AI and empathy, improving wellness, understanding evidence-based therapy, treatment of posttraumatic stress and substance abuse, the interpretation of the family, and the social meaning of trauma.

Earl “Mitch” Mitchell is the SVP of Predictive Analytics at Hard Rock Digital, the online gaming platform of the multinational restaurant, hotel, and casino chain. Prior to his time at Hard Rock Digital, Mitch was director of technology at Wolfram Solutions, the consulting arm associated with Wolfram Alpha software.

Emile Servan-Schreiber

Emile Servan-Schreiber

Dr. Emile Servan-Schreiber is a cognitive scientist and entrepreneur specializing in business and political applications of prediction markets and other collective intelligence technologies. His latest book on the topic was published in France by Fayard (Paris) in 2018: “Supercollectif - la nouvelle puissance de nos intelligences”

Since 2000, as a founder of Hypermind, he has pioneered many business applications of prediction markets for dozens of leading companies on all continents (except Antarctic). Since 2012, Hypermind has participated in several IARPA research programs about crowd-based and hybrid forecasting systems.

He holds degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics as well as a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Carnegie Mellon and in 2019 joined the international faculty of the UM6P School of Collective Intelligence, the first of its kind in the world, where he is teaching a graduate course in crowd-based forecasting.

His work on prediction markets has been featured in the best-selling book The Wisdom of Crowds, as well as in leading print media such as The New York Times, The Economist, The Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Time, Newsweek, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Nature, Le Figaro, Le Monde, Le Point, L’Express, La Tribune, Liberation, and Volkskrant.

Eric leads all commercial operations at Momento including sales, marketing, alliances, solution architecture, and developer relations. Eric joined Momento at the beginning of 2022 after nearly ten years leading the GTM efforts to grow and scale the database, analytics, and machine learning business lines at Amazon Web Services. Eric’s time at AWS included growing the Amazon EMR business by evangelizing EMR as the key foundation of an AWS data lake architecture, building out the ML GTM organization that supported the launch of the first AWS AI services and Amazon SageMaker, and leadership of the GTM efforts for all AWS Database services. Prior to AWS he led the Embedded Systems and IoT practice at VDC Research Group. Eric completed his MBA at Imperial College London and BSEE at Bucknell University.
